8/23/11 Over the past weekend, Frye B. was in Canton, CT with the Webb's. He went to the Canton Firemen's Lobsterfest where they cooked 3,500 to 4,000 lobsters. Frye B. liked the good time. He then tried to hitch a ride on the back of a fast Cadillac that was headed to a Boston Red Sox game. He didn't make it but this coming weekend he will be in Boston with Rotarian Don Bean to celebrate Boston's win (he hopes). We are looking for Don to bring back some pictures of Frye with those pesky Red Sox.

Just in: Rotary Club of Fryeburg Area named "Moose on the Loose" at their July 12th, 2011 meeting. It was a struggle to name the moose and when the dust had settled the Club was unamious in this choice.

Frye B. Moose

This project was initiated by our District Governor Gary Speers to help  District 7780 Clubs compete in a friendly way to see how far and wide each Club's Moose on the Loose goes. We have it from informed sources that Frye has a colorful and experienced past. He has already had a few interesting adventures and is looking forward to many more. Our Club members are encouraged to take Frye with them as they journey around the state, country, and world. We look forward to many pictures showing Frye in different places with different Club members. Please consider taking Frye on your next trip. Thanks

Frye B's latest trip was to the Catskills in New York State with Vice President David Chaffee. Who knew Frye B. knew how to play tennis? August 12, 2011.

Frye B. is now back in town and waiting for you to take him to his next adventure. Frye B. can be picked up at next Tuesday's meeting.

Mary Rennie, Rotary Club of Fryeburg Area President 2010-2011 along with her husband David,  took the Moose to Martha's Vinyard. Mary kicked off the "Moose on the Loose" project for our Rotary year 2011-2012. District Governor Gary Speers hatched the idea that each of the 41 Rotary Clubs in District 7780 would have a "Moose on the Loose" and travel around the globe having its picture taken with the Rotarians in various places. Our club will name the Moose on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at our regular Tuesday Morning Rotary Meeting at 7:30 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Stay tuned because the Moose is already moving with Rotarian Bob Mallon. Check in soon to see where they went. What would you name the Moose?
