 ROTARY CLUB OF THE FRYEBURG AREA

Welcome to the website of The Fryeburg Area Rotary Club of Rotary, Club # 30074 in District 7780. Our club is 39 members strong and we are growing!  Our members come from Fryeburg and the surrounding towns of Lovell, Brownfield, Denmark, and Stow, Maine; and Chatham, Eaton, Freedom and Center Conway, New Hampshire.

Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization with 1.2 million members in over 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Its membership consists of professional and business leaders who volunteer their time, vocation and experience to serve the communities around the world. Rotary’s motto, "Service Above Self" exemplifies the humanitarian spirit of the organization’s membership. Strong fellowship among Rotarians and meaningful community and international service projects characterize Rotary clubs in this district and throughout the world.

We are proud to be very active in our community of which we work and live. Our members are involved in local food pantries, community dinners, blood drives, highway and park clean-ups, providing dictionaries to our local 6^th graders, scholarship programs, and so much more. But, that is just the start - our members and the many clubs from District 7780 are also active in projects across the far reaches of this world providing clean, safe water in developing countries, immunizing children, providing food, clothing, surgery, books and school supplies and most importantly providing hope to an endless amount of children and families in need.

We meet every Tuesday morning at 7:30 am, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Route 5, Fryeburg.
