The Rotary Student of the Month is a student who continually gives within the school community to make it a better place. Being polite is part of who they are and how they treat others. They embody the character strengths that are a focus within the school every day. They are a dedicated student who puts forth their best effort in all their work, frequently looking for ways to improve and exceed expectations. This student is the first to volunteer when others need help and is sought out by their peers because of their calm way of helping and explaining things.
This student volunteers at the PKA afterschool program with students in K-4 and is involved in field hockey, helping her team accomplish an undefeated season! In the last game, she even volunteered to play goalie when the team was in a pinch. The 5th Grade Rotary Student of the Month is Lauren Lapoint.
